Sydney; the city and around - NSW

Nicknamed "Harbour City", Sydney is an impressive busy place with a lot of things to do / discover.
The best moment to get there is during the summer (february).
The aim of this article is not to list all the things to do but to share my experience, where I went, what I did and visited and what I liked.

Circular Quay and the opera
In Sydney you can’t miss the magnificent opera in the Circular Quay area; it’s an emblem of Australia! In the daytime and at night, the view is always amazing.
Circular Quay is a touristic, busy and lively place where you can find the ferries to get around the harbor (Manly, Watsons Bay…).
Sydney sea life Aquarium
A huge and impressive aquarium.
Quite expensive but you can check on Groupon sometimes you can find some good deals (half price).
Darling Harbour
The heart of the city / a lively pedestrian precinct where you can find a lot of pubs and restaurants. 
Cruises to discover the main places

Watsons Bay
To get there from the city, take the ferry at Circular Quay.
Watsons bay is the Australia's oldest fishing village and a famous place to eat fish and chips and chill out on beaches.

Festival and events
As mentioned at the beginning, all the time somethings happend in Sydney, especially during the summer season.

Paddys Day - March
The Sydney St Patrick's day is event is the fourth largest in the world.
Parade on George Street.

Australia Day - January
The official national day of Australia
